After18 is a charity which specialises in supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young refugees under 25 to adjust to living in the UK, consider their options and prepare for their future. Our support includes: Education through our Homework Hub and 1:1 casework to assist with school and college applications, exam entry and career planning; Wellbeing activities, including a group for young women and girls, football and art, to promote socialising, confidence-building and learning new skills; 1:1 support for individuals to ensure their basic needs are met, and that they have access to services to start planning for the future

How can people get involved and support your organisation?
  • Volunteers are vital to the success of our work with young people and we are often looking for people with specific teaching or organisational skills and the enthusiasm to join our team. Current volunteering vacancies here: https://www.after18.org.uk/join-us/
  • We always appreciate donations, which allow us to be flexible in responding to young people's needs. You can donate directly on our site, or via Amazon Smile and Easyfundraising which means we get donations for free when our supporters shop online.
